 Rendall was an English educator and college administrator, and an advocate of the Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare authorship, a view he propounded in this work, and others. In his words, he became a "fervent and prolific convert" to the theory at the age of 80.
 - CONDITION - In the publishers original cloth binding. Externally, fine. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
